Three of our Junior Teams have progressed into this week's Grand Finals. The teams and playing dates and venues are:
U18's v Le Page Park Wed 8 Mar 17 (from 4:30pm) Destructor Site (aka Spring St Reserve)
U14C v Cheltenham Fri 10 (from 4:30pm) & Sun 12 (from 8:45am) Mar 17 Shipston Reserve
U12A v St Bridgid's/St Louis Sat 11 & Sun 12 Mar 17 (from 8:45am) Peterson St Reserve Oval No. 1
It would be fantastic to see as many players and supporters down to support the teams bringing home the ultimate reward.

ESCC boasted 13 players and 2 coaches in the various representative competitions over summer, a great advertisement for the club, its coaches and players.
We would like to congratulate the following members for their selection, brilliant individual and team play throughout the carnivals. 8 teams containing our members went onto win premierships.
7th December 2016 marked an historic change for our great club. The club is always mindful to make sure that it is seen as current and relevant to the era we live in and so our name has been changed to East Sandringham Cricket Club.
Pre-season training starts in the first week of September, so dust off those bats and balls, have mum clean the whites and come on down!

This weekend sees the Grand finals for our U14A's and U12A's.
The U14A's play Brighton away at Peterson Street Reserve playing Friday 11/03 from 4:30pm and Sunday 13/03 from 8:45am.
The U12A earned a home Grand Final at Chisholm Reserve playing Saturday 12/03 from 8:45am and Sunday 12/03 from 8:45am.
Both teams have had exceptional years, so let's get down and support them home.
The U14A, U14C and U12A' teams are half way through their semi finals and are all well placed to join the U12D team who have already made it to next weekend's Grand Final. Let's get around the boys and cheer them onto glory.

MILO Cricket recommences after the Christmas break this Sunday 31/01/16. The session runs from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Last Sunday saw the conclusion of the annual VMCU carnival which pits the state's metropolitan competitions against each other. SECA entered 8 teams of which 5 made it to their respective Grand Finals with 3 going on to win.
7 boys and 2 coaches from East Sandy were selected and all of them represented themselves, the club and competition with aplomb.
The ESBCC Milo in2cricket season starts on Sunday 8th November 2015 at Chisholm Reserve, Duncan Street Sandringham. The season is being fronted by Chris Roe. All sessions are conducted between 9:30am and 10:30am.

ESBCC are fielding a team in the T20blast competition this upcoming season ( http://www.t20blast.com.au/) see website for details. The game is designed for Children 6-8 years old that have done 1-2 seasons of Milo but are not yet ready to progress to the "hard ball" cricket.

Milo in2 Cricket training dates have been released for the rest of the season
Special Announcement: Milo Cricket will commence on Sunday 28th October 2012 (registration day) from 9:30am to 10:30am. The program will comprise 7 sessions before Christmas and 5 sessions after cricket at these times and costs $75 which includes all equipment, coaching and your own Milo Cricket Kit.

In what must be a record for the E.S.B.C.C. by the 1st day in round four this season, at last count our club has played a total of 23 juniors across all 5 of our senior teams.

With the holidays starting this week, the club needs to know of everyones availability for matches.
Coach of Sandringham Baseball Club, Don McGrath, will be teaching throwing techniques this Monday, 22nd November to the U/14 & U/16 Junior teams.
With the washout on Friday night 12/11/10, games that had less than 20 overs bowled become one day games with 25 overs for each team, whilst where over 20 overs were bowled, ordinary rules apply.
Following last week's torremtial rains, the forecast looks good for matches to resume this week.
Due to the need for an AFL Grand Final replay, the CMCA has decided to push the opening round of the cricket season back one week.
